Senior Star Living Center · Dallas, Texas

Project Scope:
Microbiological Remediation Services were completed within various areas of elderly care facility. Project consisted of the removal and disposal of contaminated ceiling and wall drywall, associated fiberglass batt insulation and the treatment of ceiling and wall beams.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. was required to complete remediation activities throughout the night in order to reduce disruptions to staff and residents.

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
The project commenced and completed in October 2002. This project was completed on time and within Budget!

Branson Landing Development · Branson,Missouri

Project Scope:
Asbestos Abatement Services were completed on various asbestos-containing materials within 250 separate structures prior to demolition.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. was required to provide all electrical and plumbing services required for all aspects of the abatement process

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
The project commenced in June 2002. Contract documents required all abatement and demolition services to be completed in 30 calendar days. Abatement and demolition services were completed within 20 days of project commencement. This project was completed on time and within budget!

Mercy Medical Center of Kansas · Ft. Scott, Kansas

Project Scope:
Asbestos Abatement Services were completed on 20,000 square feet of floor tile, 15,000 linear feet of thermal pipe insulation, and 4,500 square feet of duct insulation. Selective Demolition Services were provided, in order to access un-accessible thermal pipe insulation found throughout the facility.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. was required to complete the abatement of asbestos in order to facilitate the demolition of facility.

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
Project commenced in October 2002, with abatement and demolition services being completed in January 2003. This project was completed on time and within budget!

Industrial Facility Projects

Industrial Chemical Facility · Galena, Kansas

Project Scope:
Asbestos Abatement Services were completed on 3,400 linear feet of piping, 660 square feet of boiler and tank insulation, and 16,000 square feet of transite board.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. was required to complete abatement services in locations 45 feet from ground level on piping, and 75+ feet from ground level on transite boards.

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
The project commenced in November 1999. Abatement services were completed on the Interior piping and boiler insulation during the first phase of the project. Abatement of transite board was completed during the second phase of the project. This project was completed on time and within budget!

Food Production Facility · Springfield, Missouri

Project Scope:
Lead Abatement Services completed on 4,000 square feet of freezer wall and 900 linear feet of beam and bracing.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. required to construct a negative pressure enclosure within a cooler with temperatures, holding at sub-zero conditions. In addition, the facility was required to remain in full production during the entire process.

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
The project commenced in February 2001. Contract documents required all lead abatement services to be completed within seven (7) calendar days. The project was completed in six (6) calendar days. This project was completed on time and within budget!

Explosives Manufacturing Facility · Joplin, Missouri

Project Scope:
Asbestos Abatement Services were completed on 20,000 linear feet of thermal pipe insulation, 6,000 square feet of trowled on asbestos plaster, 7,500 square feet of boiler and tank insulation and 20,000 square feet of asbestos transite building panels throughout facility.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. was required to complete the asbestos abatement services in coordination with the dismantlement of facility as well as weather as most materials required outdoor abatement methods.

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
The project commenced in September 2002 and was completed in January 2003.

Educational Facility Projects

Southwest MO State Univ. · Springfield, Missouri

Project Scope:
Asbestos Abatement Services were completed on 35,000 square feet of spray-applied ceiling texture, and 65,000 square feet of floor tile and floor tile mastic.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. was required to complete the asbestos abatement services in coordination with the dismantlement of facility as well as weather as most materials required outdoor abatement methods.

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
The project commenced in September 2002 and was completed in January 2003.

Henderson State University · Arkadelphia, Arkansas

Project Scope:
Microbiological Remediation Services completed within a three-story Science building. Project required the removal of 48,000 square feet of ceiling tiles, 5,000 linear feet of fiberglass thermal pipe insulation as well as treatment and cleaning of all interior finishes and furnishings within facility.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. was required to complete the asbestos abatement services in coordination with the dismantlement of facility as well as weather as most materials required outdoor abatement methods.

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
The project commenced in December 2001 and was completed in December 2001 The project was completed in 22 calendar days.

Joplin R-8 School District · Joplin, Missouri

Project Scope:
Asbestos Abatement Services were completed on 15,000 square feet of floor tile and floor tile mastic, 1,200 square feet of boiler and boiler breeching insulation and 1,500 linear feet of pipe insulation within the Joplin High School Building.
Gerken Environmental Enterprises, Inc. was required to complete abatement activities in two phases in order to aid in the renovation process for the district.

Project Commencement & Completion Dates:
was required to work with school district officals as well as general contractors in order to proceed with abatement services while not disturbing the renovation schedule.
