Gerken Environmental was retained by E&M Management, Inc. for completion of asbestos abatement services throughout the former dynamite manufacturing site.

Abatement activities included removal and disposal of:

• Thermal Pipe Insulation - 5,290 Linear Feet
• Boiler & Tank Insulation - 3,080 Square Feet
• Transite Roofing - 1,945 Square Feet
• Floor Tile and Floor Tile Mastic: - 5,670 Square Feet

Gerken Environmental was required to complete abatement activities ahead of demolition contractors, removing facility buildings and equipment as part of a site-closure plan administered by the Owner. Gerken Environmental completed abatement activities in 62 working days, ahead of the project schedule.
